Half Way Through The Quarter

By JadaMink On September 12, 2009 No Comments

This school year seems like it is going by real fast. In about about a week we are going to be already half through the quarter. We have only been in school for about 3 weeks and like wow. It’s going quick. This year is gonna come and go. Last year it was so long. I felt ruined and sick… To much school, to slow. My grades are doing real good. I am starting school off much better this year. Last year it was rocky and real tough to concentrate. I was so confused. I mean it was my first year of middle school. I had no clue what to do. I started off with A’s and B’s and then went down

Summer 2009 Is Over

By JadaMink On August 16, 2009 No Comments

I had a wonderful summer. I went swimming, watched t.v, spent time with my dog Chili, ran a race at the Hershey’s Track and Field Games, had a dance recital, took trips to St. Joseph, Sedalia, and Springfield Missouri, went paddling in a boat, 4 sleepovers, and went to Worlds of Fun twice. Although this summer was a little crazy, I’m happy I wasn’t just sitting at home like a lazy couch potato. I usually go on vacations but that’s not what happened this year. I mostly stayed at home and took care of the house while my mom was working. When I spent the night at one of my friends house, I got to play Guitar Hero, make tacos, watch the best movie in the world, and just hang. Why did summer have to end

Brittanica Online Helps Kids Learn and Doesn’t Collect Dust Like the Books!

By JadaMink On June 1, 2008 No Comments

As we grow in our online life by accessing quality online stuff, my mom and I found this interesting site called Brittanica. I like the name. It reminds me of one of my best friends, Brittany. And I think of something fun and exciting. I am currently researching information about stocks. My mom wants me to be a millionaire by the time I am 25 so this is what she wants to research.

Britannica Store – Save 10%

Kids grab your parents and show them this site. Tell them that you want to learn and watch their mouths drop wide open. Hopefully they will not faint. But just think about it like this. If you show your parents that you want to learn something new that has nothing to do with Wii or Playstation, they will do this and then reward you big

Tutoring Online For Bored Kids Over the Summer

By JadaMink On June 1, 2008 No Comments

Okay, I can think of a kadzillion things to do besides studying during the summer. But my mom told me that I have to study my math. I do not do as well as I could in math but at the same time, I am really good in multiplication, adding, and subtracting. But for some reason, my math grades are always C’s, D’s, and sometimes F’s.

So my mom is worried that I will lag behind as I enter the 6th grade. So she told me I had to take tutoring. And it is working! The first thing that I do is I always buy Math workbooks from Wal-Mart or Toys R Us. I finished the 5th grade, but I still buy first grade, second grade, third grade and fourth grade level books. It is always good to stay refreshed.

Upromise Helps Struggling Moms and Dads Put Kids Into College

By JadaMink On May 19, 2008 No Comments

My Mom showed me this cool site called UPROMISE, where you can save money for your kid. Now it may not be much money but every penny counts. What she likes about this place is that you can go to their website and buy anything from travel, cars, buying a home, shopping at Price Chopper, shopping at Wal Mart, eBay and other places. And money is deposited into the upromise account.
She just started and made $10 just for signing up!

Upromise.com

All you need to do is have your parents register. If they have a credit or debit card, they can add this. But they do not have to. They can register their CVS card, their HYVEE card, their Price Chopper card, and more. There are even restaurants that participate too, like McDonald’s which
