Basketball

Basketball is a great activity. For tall people in occasion. I am tall and I am only 11 almost taller than my mom. But a few days ago I started  playing basketball and I had an interest in it and I loved it. Even running has been a natural to me ever since I have ran my entire life. My dad was a track runner, football player, and basketball player. My mom was a bodybuilder and with there efforts I have more energy than a cheetah running over 75 miles per hour in the Savannah. Basketball is a pleasure and to the tall people out there it is great way to have fun also you can meet people on your team in the same position like you. Hang out and have a great time. Even my cousin Brandon is a famous basketball player in Springfield and our whole entire family is tall. So just say it runs in both sides of the family. My half sister also plays basketball. Try basketball! It’s a great chance taken!

Hamster’s Great for pets!

Hamster’s are wonderful pets to take care of. Even though you can’t sleep with them when you go to bed at night like cats, and dogs you can have so much fun with them. There are so many colors to choose from. There is black&white, brown, orange, tannish yellow, and more!I just got a hamster on Saturday and they are so sweet except when they bite. Ouch! My hamster has bitten a couple times but the only reason is because my mom had ate Cheetos, the HOT kind you know, and I also ate some food but I washed my hands off after.  So I wanted to get my hamster out to play with and my, and my mom said that she wanted to see him after me so I gave the hamster to my mom and it bit her finger and it was bleeding on her thumb. She said that it really hurts when he bit her. But the best thing to do is wash it with cool water for 15 seconds and get a good band-aid. Also hamsters need chew sticks to chew on for there teeth especially when they are babies. Mine is a baby and he loves them. The first night you bring your hamster home I would put one in there cage and see what happens. Make sure you put one in once a week. They are a fabulous treat. Chew sticks also help for there teeth. They need them so they don’t curl up like finger nails when they get very long. There teeth can curl up and hit there brain and could die. Make sure you take good care of them!

Cages are really rare and hard to fine. But the best thing to do is find a cage very environmental and that has enough room for even when they get older where they can run around, dig, and play. You definitely do not want you hamster where they can’t breath.

Did you know hamsters are nocturnal? Yes they are! Nocturnal is when an animal sleeps in the day and is awake at night. It’s the opposite of what humanly basis are. But us humans  can sleep whenever. When we are tired we can go bed accordingly to the daily schedule. So in a way you could say we are both.

Raven Baxter/Raven Symone

Thanks in no small part to it’s charismatic young star, Raven Symone, That’s So Raven  is funny, smart, and well-done.  With an ensemble cast of characters that are diverse, and episodes that deal with real family issues in a way that kids can relate to, That’s So Raven  is one show you can feel good about your kids watching.  You may even want to watch with them; If so, you’ll find yourself laughing along with your kids.

The plot of That’s So Raven  revolves around Raven Symone’s character, Raven Baxter.  Baxter is a teenager driven by her love of creative clothing, and pesky little psychic powers that give her visions into the future.  These visions give Raven and her friends and family plenty of lessons to learn as they deal with crazy situations.  Those crazy situations often involve Raven putting on one of a hundred different disguises.  

Regular characters on That’s So Raven  also include: Orlando Brown as Raven’s best friend Eddie Thomas, Anneliese van der Pol as Raven’s other best friend Chelsea Daniels, Rondell Sheridan and T’keyah Crystal Keymah as Raven’s parents Victor and Tanya Baxter, and Kyle Massey who plays little brother Cory Baxter.  There are also many guest stars with recurring roles, such as Wesley Mann as teacher Mr. Lawler, Frankie Ryan as Cory’s friend William, Ashley Drane as Muffy, David Henrie as Larry, and Andrea Edwards as Loca.

What Do Kids Think About Barrack Obama?

As an 11 year old girl who will enter the 6th grade in the Fall, I have noticed that grownups are very unsettled about politics.  I often wonder what the big deal is.  Please do not think that because I am a kid, that I cannot possibly understand that we need a President to protect our country and lead us in war, or that we need him to help our economy and make the rules.  I understand this.

 But I do not understand why it is an hourly debate that keeps changing and how things that are minor become real big issues.  Grownups are so hypocritical.  For example, adults tell kids to not cut in line, but they do it all the time on the highway.  It drives a kid nuts sometimes.

So I thought I would give a mature discussion about Barrack Obama.  And I will ask kids in my neighborhood their thoughts about him.
